šŸ“Ø Sort by Unread Comments in Inbox

You can now sort your inbox by unread comments to quickly focus on items that need your attention.

New sorting options include:

  • Created – Newest first (default)

  • Created – Oldest first

  • Comments – Unread/Newest first

When sorting by comments, items with unread comments appear at the top, marked with a blue dot and a preview of the latest comment underneath.

šŸ•’ Idea History Activity Log

You can now view a full history of changes made to any idea through the new History tab.

The log tracks all important system-generated actions, including:

  • Idea creation details

  • Status changes (e.g., Under Review → Planned)

  • Ownership updates

  • Product Area or Component changes

Each entry shows who made the change, what was updated, and when it happened-displayed in a clear, chronological timeline.

šŸ“ Evidence Activity Log

You can now view a full activity log for each piece of evidence, giving complete visibility into everything that happens to it.

The new Activity tab inside each evidence item shows:

  • System actions (such as assignment, validation, unassignment)

  • User comments and discussions

You can also toggle between All Activity and Comments Only to easily track conversations or system updates.

šŸ“„ Download Idea + Evidence as CSV

You can now export both an idea and its related evidence as a CSV file from the 3-dot menu in the Idea view.

The CSV includes:

  • The first two columns contain the idea’s details

  • The rest of the columns include details of the evidence

  • Only includes evidence that is assigned to the idea or has a strong match

šŸ” New: Improved Reassignment Flow for Evidence

Reassigning evidence is now clearer and more informative.

When trying to assign evidence that’s already linked to another idea, you’ll now see:

  • A message showing who reassigned it and when

  • The title of the currently assigned idea

  • Key context including the product area, status, and owner

  • A ā€œGo to ideaā€ link for quick access

This update helps you make better reassignment decisions with full visibility into where the evidence currently lives.

🧠 Identify Potential Idea Duplications

Bagel now helps you spot potential duplicate ideas using AI.

If an idea is suspected to be a duplication, you’ll see a duplication badge next to the title—both in the Ideas list and inside the Idea view.

Clicking the badge opens a modal showing:

  • The reason for the duplication match

  • Key details of the similar idea (title, product area, status, and owner)

  • A link to open the similar idea in a new tab

If it’s not a duplication, simply click ā€œMark as not a duplicationā€ and the suggestion won’t appear again.

This helps reduce redundancy and keeps your idea list clean and focused.

🧩 Customer 360 (Phase 1)

We’ve added a new Customer 360 view—designed to give you a complete picture of a customer’s ideas and requests, all in one place.

Key highlights in Phase 1:

  • Access Customer 360 from the new left menu item (under ā€œIdeasā€)

  • Select a single customer to view their relevant ideas and evidence

  • See a timeline-style view grouped by status, product area, or domain

  • View customer details at the top, including key attributes

  • Get full visibility into:

    • Ideas already in GA/LA

    • Ideas in delivery

    • Open ideas

    • Unlinked evidence (clearly marked)

  • Click on any line to open a side panel with full context, including:

    • Idea details

    • Evidence data

    • Owner info

    • Commitment and delivery dates

Customer 360 helps you prioritize and communicate better by giving full visibility into what matters most for each customer.

Phase 2 will include multi-customer view and deeper filtering options.

šŸ”” Notifications Fixes & Customization

We’re testing several important fixes and customizations to make notifications smarter and more relevant across Slack and Bagel.

Fixes:

  • Slack messages will now include proper guidance text (e.g., ā€œReply in threadā€)

  • Replies in Slack threads will trigger notifications again

  • Replies will also correctly notify in Bagel

Customizations (based on customer feedback):

  • Submitters will be notified only in specific scenarios (e.g., when an idea moves to delivery or is declined)

  • Owners will no longer receive notifications for their own actions

  • CSMs will be notified of changes to evidence under their accounts

  • Reassignments (idea or evidence) will notify only the new assignee

  • No duplicate or unnecessary notifications—we’re eliminating noise

This update brings more control, better relevance, and cleaner collaboration across teams.

Stay tuned—phase 2 will introduce a dedicated settings page to manage notification permissions per user role.
