What is the Bagel AI MCP?

Bagel AI consolidates all your feedback sources and automatically extracts product gaps, and prioritizes your backlog so you understand what to build, why to build it, and what business impact it will drive.

Bagel AI's MCP App brings that intelligence into tools like Claude and Cursor, so you can ask questions in plain language and get answers grounded in your real customer signals without switching tools.

  4. Start querying
Once connected, ask Claude to surface insights, prioritize gaps, or pull context from any of your feedback sources.

Security & data considerations

⚠️ What to know before connecting

Data access by user role
Bagel MCP relies on the same authentication mechanism used for Bagel users in the organization. Not all team members have equal access to the feedback sources connected through Bagel AI. To check who has access to query Bagel insights, review the members settings in Bagel. Bagel users who have access to the Explore module also have access to it via MCP assuming they use the same authentication. Before rolling out the MCP to your team, define who should be able to query what- especially for sources containing sensitive customer data like call recordings, CRM data, or loss reasons. Access should reflect the same permissions model you’d apply in Bagel AI itself.

Anthropic has access to your data
When you use the Bagel AI MCP through Claude, the content pulled from your feedback sources passes through Anthropic's infrastructure. Anthropic is listed as a subprocessor in Bagel AI's subprocessor list but if your organization has strict data residency or confidentiality requirements, review Anthropic's data usage policy.
