This oauth2 integration allows companies to deepen their understanding of customer needs by connecting solutions, epics, ideas, and requests to Salesforce accounts, opportunities, evidence, and cases (i.e. evidence).
Add a Salesforce integration
1) Click on your avatar on the top-right side of your screen
2) Select settings
3) Select integrations on the left menu
4) Click on the '+' icon to the right of Salesforce, where you will find a step-by-step process on integrating your Bagel account with Salesforce.
Follow the step-by-step guide
Step 1: Connect your Salesforce account
a) Enter a sub-domain (format should be https://mysubdomain.my.salesforce.com)
Tip: To find your sub-domain, log into your Salesforce account and copy the url link
b) Click on Authorize (you'll be directed into a new tab and be asked to allow Bagel to access your Salesforce account. Click Allow)
Step 2: Account Preferences
a) Carefully select each field mapping (in drop down are raw field names)
Tip: Curr. ARR, Plan, and Tier are currently fixed. Please contact Bagel support team via the chat for any adjustment needed
b) Carefully map each account type (in drop down are raw field names)
Tip: There are currently only 3 account types in Bagel: Prospect, Customer, and Churned. Please contact Bagel support team via the chat for any adjustment needed
c) Add any account to be excluded (enter the Salesforce account id)
Tip: Bagel will not access any data related to this account
d) Click on save
Step 3: Opportunity Preferences
a) Carefully select the amount field and renewal date
b) Click on save
Step 4: Import
Once everything is set, click on Import to save and complete the integration process
